If choosing between SKAGs and STAGs feels like guesswork, this custom GPT changes that. Share your offer, geo, and USPs; it decides the structure, writes the ads, builds negatives, and exports a CSV you can import directly into Google Ads Editor.

Why I Built This

Most PPC “generators” dump a keyword list and leave you to rebuild everything inside Google Ads. I wanted a tool that acts like a strategist: it reads your brief, recommends SKAG (control) or STAG (scale), and ships an import-ready CSV—so you can launch fast and spend time optimizing where it matters. For distribution, I packaged it as a custom GPT—simple to use, no code, and perfect for teams.

What the GPT Delivers

  • Clear recommendation: SKAG or STAG (+ a 2–3 line rationale based on budget, intent, and geo).

  • Structure: Campaigns and ad group names that are production-ready.

  • Keywords & match types: Exact, Phrase, and (when justified) Broad—aligned to Google’s definitions.

  • Ads: Three RSA variations per ad group (headlines, descriptions, paths) tied to your USPs.

  • Negatives: Shared + ad group level to keep quality high.

  • Assets: Sitelinks, callouts, and structured snippets (when relevant).

  • Export: A CSV that Google Ads Editor recognizes—import, review, post.

  • Policy sanity-check: Flags obvious risks (claims, trademarks) before launch.

How It Works (3 Steps)

1) Share your brief

Offer/service, locations/language (e.g., Dubai, EN/AR), audience, USPs, final URLs, budget/bidding, and 10–30 seed keywords.

2) Get the strategy

The GPT weighs control vs scale and recommends SKAG (tight control, highest message match) or STAG (broader intent themes leveraging automation). It drafts ad groups, keywords (with match types), negatives, and 3 RSA variants per group for you to review.

3) Export & import

It outputs a CSV with Editor-friendly headers. In Google Ads Editor: Import → From file → Review → Post changes.

Who It’s For

  • Performance marketers who want clean builds, fast.

  • Agencies standardizing multi-lingual account setups.

  • Founders who need a solid starting point without reinventing PPC fundamentals.

SKAG vs STAG (and why it still matters)

  • SKAG (Single-Keyword Ad Group): maximum control and message match for a tight set of high-intent terms—great when budgets are constrained or precision is critical.

  • STAG (Single-Theme Ad Group): clusters closely related themes to capture more queries—ideal with automated bidding and enough conversion data.

**The GPT chooses—and explains why—**so you’re not locked into doctrine.

Guardrails the GPT Uses

  • Tight match types by default (Exact/Phrase), with Broad only when your conversion tracking + bidding justify it.

  • Brand-safety negatives to avoid junk queries.

  • Policy hints for medical/financial/claims and trademarks so you edit before publishing.

Pro Tips for UAE Accounts

  • Use location extensions and call extensions during peak hours.

  • Localize copy with Dubai-specific cues (e.g., same-day, AED, areas served like Marina/JLT).

  • Keep ad strength high (pin sparingly; let RSAs learn).

  • Pair with CRO: fast landing pages, click-to-WhatsApp, and clear above-the-fold value.
